EVALUATED ON:Inspiration of your drink: 20 points
Cocktail name: 10 points

The 5 cocktails with highest marks in Phase One will be competing in the
Grand Final.
The 5 Bartenders that made it to the Final will be contacted by Equiano
Rum to participate in the Grand Final in London.
Given the ongoing international travel uncertainty, Bartender Finalists
won’t need to travel to the venue for the Final. They will be present and
make their cocktails in under 7 minutes live through a zoom link provided
by Equiano Rum ahead of the Grand Final.
Nevertheless, if a Finalist is due to be in London on the day of the final
or around that time , they can be invited to participate at the Grand
Final and Equiano Rum will take care of their accommodation for one night
before or after the event.
All cocktails will be prepared by the Finalists or recreated for them at
the event by a bartender, these will then be tasted by a panel of
professional Judges led by Ian Burrell.
In case a Finalist cannot be physically present on the day of the Final
and cannot participate in the live zoom video either, they will be asked
to send a video of up to 7 minutes, without any breaks, where they
consecutively present and make their drink.
The videos should be sent ahead of the Final and will be rated during the
live event based on the scoring perimeters indicated on the competition
page of the website but outlined as well below.
Please note that the points all the finalists received to make the final
will carry over into the grand final and this will be announced during the
event.
During the Grand Final the additional points they will get are:
